Since 1996, the Career & Networking Center (CNC) has empowered thousands of individuals in job search, career transition, and professional growth.
Based in Naperville, Illinois, CNC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping job seekers and professionals gain the tools, resources, and confidence needed to achieve their career goals.
We offer one-on-one coaching, career development webinars, and networking groups, all designed to meet people where they are in their journey. Whether you're re-entering the workforce, making a career shift, or looking to sharpen your job search strategy, CNC is here to support you every step of the way.

Our History
In 1992, a United Way Community Needs Assessment revealed that unemployment and underemployment were the top concerns among local residents. This finding sparked a grassroots movement aimed at providing meaningful support and resources for those navigating career transitions.
As a result, the Community Career Center (CCC) officially opened its doors in September 1996, offering job seekers the tools, guidance, and community support needed to conduct effective job searches and return to work with confidence.
In 2019, after careful reflection and a desire to more accurately reflect the importance of connection in the job search process, CCC became the Career & Networking Center (CNC). While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to empower individuals on their career journey through coaching, resources, and the power of networking.
